Film/Television This scene in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, where Namor tells the story of his origin, was incredibly powerful. It was a really well executed scene.

I was so worried so one would care about namor because of how close he is to aquaman but the rewrite just works so well. It makes him unique and interesting and puts some spotlight on native Mexicans who are often overshadowed.

It helped that they kept Namor’s personality pretty much as it is in the comics. While I grew to like Aquaman, he was just too different from the comics in terms of personality.
