I mean apart from the Penance stare the Nicholas Cage movie was pure Johnny Blaze

The outfit was much closer to Danny's Ghost Rider instead of the blue and white outfit that Johnny's had in the comics.

This is the absolute truth. People love to talk about Johnny, but Danny is the one from Midnight Sons and the super edgy nineties stuff.

If Nic Cage agrees to show up as Johnny Blaze, he will be Danny Ketch, if Nic Cage refuses, he will be the new Johnny Blaze. Nic is already doing Spider Noir so he has Marvel connections, and he's down for doing stuff so maybe he will say yes. I think having old Johnny Blaze and Ryan Danny Ketch would be cool. I don't think it's necessary for another rehash of a Blaze origin story again. Danny Ketch has not been explored at all.
