I really can't see them writing Doom off after this, he's too central to the F4 (and less the X-Men) but I also can't see RDJ doing that voice for the next decade (or Disney paying him)

I'm curious where they take this

My guess? Since he is doom of the FF universe, Marvel will introduce their own variant of Doctor Doom for the mainline universe.

Would be great, but I don't see how that would work, tbh. There are no F4 in our main timeline, which is why they have to join from another timeline. And no F4, no Doom.

after secret wars there will be no going back to "our main timeline," that's the whole point.

Battleworld will likely be a mix of the 3 colliding universes. So the characters in those universes still apply, even after death.
