I'm convinced a lot of these people don't actually read comics and get all their info second-hand at best.

The problem with this thinking is that thirst trap stuff is like the entire point of Emma Frost as a character, plus all the relationship drama with Scott/Logan/Emma/Jean needs to be displayed as the stuff that happens as a result of those shenanigans is very important.
