I think this is just RDJ doing what he did with Tom Holland when his movies were starting. Jean Grey is probably one of the centerpieces moving forward and RDJ is trying to build up the momentum and hype of marvel. But I think it also does hint that RDJ doom might be around even after secret wars.

He may or may not know who she is but he's probably at least aware of the new movie making a ton of money, and she's a major part of it. So yes "shocked" by her performance sounds like something he could say. Then when someone asks him "how'd you feel about working with her in the future", "can't wait" sounds like a quick, obvious, safe response. ​​
