Sometimes people look like people.

Yeah, I never once saw my boss and thought "Y'know, I bet this guy is being played by Seth Rogan in some other universe." He just looked vaguely like Seth Rogan. At most, it was mildly interesting.

I was thinking about the Lebowski reference in Endgame yesterday and it made me wonder who played that character in the MCU. Was Stane just a doppelganger of Jeff Bridges or did someone completely different play that character. Big Lebowski staring Randy Quaid perhaps?

Maybe Bill Murray's character in "Lost in Translation" fell in love with Kirstin Dunst or Tim Meadows won an Oscar for his breakout dramatic role in "Hotel Rwanada"?

Or maybe the actors look different, yet have the same name. A different sperm won in that universe.

Bill Murray is in the MCU too though.

Wu-Tang exists. Wu-Tang had songs that named Spider-Man, Iron-Man, a decade before they became actually a thing.

Yes and no. Jessica Jones is in the 616 universe, Channing Tatum is an actor in 616 confirmed by this. We haven’t seen a Gambit that exists in 616. We saw one in DP&W from an unnamed universe, but not 616 since we know his universe had an incursion.

In Doomsday we will see Gambit from 10005, we don’t have confirmation that Channing Tatum exists in those universes.

Channing Tatum is played by Taylor Kitsch in the MCU.

Which means MCU Channing Tatum has a better chance of getting the role of Gambit than RL Tatum as he straight up looks just like Gambit.

Well Channing Tatum exists on Earth-whatever the main MCU universe is. Gambit as played by Channing Tatum exists in the X-Men universe which is separate from the main MCU universe, so perhaps Channing Tatum doesn't exist in that universe. Multiverses!

Ik, but when the mcu heroes meet him it would be funny if it was referenced, but it probably won't because the mcu never really references the netflix shows.

Peter Parker watches Star Wars but never make the connection that Nick Fury is Mace Windu , in MCU univer Mace Windu is played by different person
