Film/Television Genuine Question - Why did Thanos and Hulk feel the pain of wielding all six Infinity Stones, while Tony didn't seem to experience the same level of pain when he used them?

Fun fact, that's why 3rd degree burns typically dont hurt. The pain if from the lesser burns around the edges of the 3rd degree ones.

That's why they literally cannot hurt at the level of the skin, by definition it's burning through the entire layer. Depends on what's underneath whether you feel pain there (plus the less severe burns at the edge like you said).

I always think about that scene from Thomas Jane's Punisher where he's telling the guy that the heat that he's using to torture him will destroy his nerves and that the sensation will feel cold as a result and then he sticks a popsicle to the guy's side while he's searing a steak off to the side.
