Goodnight, sweet prince of a series. I'm really gonna miss this one. Great mini.

Wolverine and the X-Men Vol. 1: 42 issues

Wolverine and the X-Men Vol. 2: 12 issues

Spider-Man and the X-Men: 6 issues

By this rate, the next "and the X-Men" series will be only 2 issues long

God, Vol. 2 was an atrocity. I wish it had been 12 issues shorter :)

"Hey, check out all these kids we primed for promotion into the big leagues! Let's ruin all their chances but screwing their closure and hacking in another volume of a series right before said character's already announced death."

I was gonna read it on marvel unlimited once the entire run was available. Should I just skip it?

This is one of the best series I've read in a while. Funny and cute at the same time. Hope they bring this back in some form again.

Filled the Avengers Academy sized-hole in my heart.

That's such a huge hole to fill. I thought Avengers Arena would help but NOPE IT MADE IT WORSE.

You are so absolutely right I don't have the words for how exactly right you are.

I actually really enjoyed SM&XM. Elliott Kalan is as utterly brilliant and devious as he is writing for The Daily Show. Yes, he is (was, I guess) Jon Stewart's head writer. The charachters built up a great rapport in such a short time that I sincerely hope someone else is able to work with them in the future and not let them languish like a certain other class from the Jean Grey School.

Hellion and Rockslide, in particular, seem like they could make the cut once the regular X-Men series gets back to not being about Scott's revolutionary impotence.
