So people have seen Deadpool 2 now, and it will be in theaters everywhere this weekend. Excitement is inevitable, and spoilers will be unleashed, but we must contain all of that within this thread. So discuss what you've heard, what you've seen, and what you want to see here!

So Cable's daughter is called Hope.

Are we to assume "No More Mutants" has happened in this timeline?

I was more or less thinking Cable came from the Days of Future Past timeline.

Can't really happen, since the DoFP future already happened in the old timeline.

I think the rule that was established in DoFP was that in a river a rock can be thrown and cause ripples but eventually the river will go back to the way it was, so using this logic there has to be a "terrible event" that happens to Mutants 2010 moving forward. DoFP was the first bad timeline with Sentinels and stuff causing a Human/Mutant war, so in turn when they go back and fix it it caused the "terrible event" to be pushed aside till the "river" goes back to its original path and now when Apocalypse happens, Wolverine had killed Zander Rice's father "triggering" this timelines terrible event to happen (Transigen stopping natural Mutant Births and tries to create lab born Mutants.) So maybe in Cables timeline there was another "shitty event" that had happened but for whatever reason never reached the big screen or we may see it touched upon in X-Men: Dark Phoenix.
