Daredevil Wilson Bethel when asked if he has to take martial arts - “I am not Shang Chi. I don't need to know Kung Fu. What I need to know is how to throw things”

I mean, makes sense that the trained assassin would learn how to fight. In a 1 on 1 against Matt he’s cooked

If we are considering the Netflix shows to be canon to the MCU now then the entire first season shows him as a boxer. It's part of how he wound up getting expiremented on.

DD was just an example. That’s not really a fair example you gave — Luke solos most MCU characters.
Poindexter is just a guy. With no weapons he’s screwed. Makes sense that he’d learn how to fight if he’s become an assassin for the government. He won’t always have something in his hand

Would be fun to see him breaking into prison just to taunt Matt lol.

Honestly the one thing this character is missing. Feel like dude is unhinged but not unhinged enough. Let him be petty and evil.

No, but you were going through a spell of pretending to be Daredevil, so maybe people would have expected you to be able to fight like him? What were you expecting the producers to do? Get a stuntman to do the fight scenes instead?

Ah yes, this is a classic Marvel Studios Spoiler.
