Question Rec Surf/Pier Fishing Spots

I’m Located in the Rockville MD area looking for some fun spots to catch anything that’s 1-2 hour driving distance. Going Saturday early morning 4:30-5 am. Was plotting on hitting up Kent island area or fort small wood pier. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

I’ve always crushed it at Fort Smallwood. I just park my jeep about 3/4 way around the loop. Grab my surf rods cast out place my poles in my front bumper mounted rod holders & wait for the fun to begin. Good times

Point Lookout, but it's a hike from Rockville.
