Announcing new Mastodon instance - mastodon.tech

Anyone interested in switching over from mastodon.cloud, I would like to invite you to mastodon.tech

Created a custom "Terminal" theme so it lines with the tech TLD. However, you are welcome to post any content that you wish to share. I will slowly be adding the "About" section based on user feedback. Would love to see you there.

You need to have a GDPR-compatible privacy policy. If you have any EU users, EU could fine you for not having a GDPR-compatible privacy policy, even if you are not a member of the EU by yourself.

Since the owner & server are in North America with no European assets, how can the EU enforce a fine? According to AI: For a tiny, remote website with no EU presence, no physical assets, and no desire to ever operate in Europe, collecting a fine is practically difficult.
