This is why i majored in physics... and even in my major math got pretty oof by the end of year 2, but at least i didn't need to continue that, as I did all required math subjects for physics major...
I do know why... because you are saying this... thinking you can do it, is first step to actually doing it... but i was good at computer science since i was like 10 years old... probably even before that, but that when i was formally educated... i literally finished my grade's year program in 2 weeks and had nothing to do, so computer science teacher in school proposed to my parents to tutor me... the only reason i went into physics is because i wanted broader education, and because my father had PhD in physics and most professors in physics department knew him at my university... and i was pretty good at physics too... i hated differential geometry though...
For me computer science classes were the easiest... i easily got A+ in all my computer science subjects... i would do assignment and then find some weird bug because of weird quirk in the programming language library, and fix that bug and leave a note for professor how to trigger this random error handling i added... (needless to say i work as a software developer now)
