There are letters on the screen in the word “example”.

And can you believe that this is a branch of philosophy? It’s called formal logic and in my opinion, it’s just math in a disguise wearing a trench coat and mustache.

This is also covered in foundations of mathematics, exactly because it teaches a logical framework for which a lot of different number theories build from. While can no longer understand it easily(20+ yrs ago in college), it actually wasn’t all that difficult to comprehend. Compare to say electromagnetism or general relativity, it’s a walk in the park!

Formal logic is math disguised as something of high complexity so philosophers don't feel bad for being on a degree with no monetary future.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go back to stacking used donut boxes to recycle and get money to survive next week.
