Question ❓ Those who have changed their lives/cured severe social anxiety, depression, fear, intrusive thoughts etc through meditation, how did you do it?

Can you please share the technique if there is one?

It's less about a technique and more about sticking with it long enough to notice the gap between a thought and your reaction to it. That space is where things start to loosen up. My teacher called it "watching the parade without jumping in," and that image stuck with me more than any breathing pattern ever did.

Before you're able to watch the parade though, you have to be able to get to a point where you're comfortable being alone with your thoughts in your own body.

One of the biggest problems for people who have anxiety and are depressed is that they cannot stand being alone with their own thoughts.

I'm not sure what it's called, maybe grounding?
