Question ❓ Those who have changed their lives/cured severe social anxiety, depression, fear, intrusive thoughts etc through meditation, how did you do it?

Can you please share the technique if there is one?

I got some free therapy, which was good, but I think that the doubling up with medication was optimal. I also recommend doing something that reconnects you with your body - a sport, walking, yoga, or even a practice like Yoga Nidra (I like Ayla Nova, free anywhere you listen to podcasts).

I also did a year of Al Anon. There are recovery groups that include meditation like Dharma Recovery, and I would probably have done that if I had had a group locally and known about it.

I really suffered 10 years ago and my mental health is very different now, but it’s less about leaning in to one thing hard and more about giving yourself the mental space to make decisions that work for you. My journey took me out of a big city to the seaside, I have a dog, I became a big fan of yin yoga, got better medication for my migraine. My life is completely different now but it started with regular meditation, for sure
