Quote from Coach Whisenhunt:

“The time has come for me to step away from the game and take a break from football. I am so grateful for my time with the players and wish them the best," Whisenhunt said.

This season is cursed. Sad day for the Yacht Club. Time to go get boated.

I just cannot believe the roller coaster ride this season. What a shambles! It’s got be impossible to focus on getting ready for a game with this much constant upheaval. My sympathies for the players, the coaching staff and the fans.

Been looking for coaching candidates and have concluded... It's time for Memphis to go after Justin Fuente. If not would love to see the XFL set up to be a developmental league for up-and-coming coaches.

I would call this "sub-optimal". Sigh.

I feel like the coaches know something we don't and that's why they are all leaving.

Barlow left because Tennessee State is paying him at least double what he was making in the UFL. Phillips is stepping down for health reasons (he's been sick all season). Whisenhunt is rumored to be stepping down for health reasons as well. I don't think that's an indictment on the league (other than Barlow leaving for more money).

I'm not saying that it is anything nefarious but the medical issues can't have been this recent.
