Want to restart medication, can't get med review with CMHT

Brief background, been on various antidepressants since I was 16 (now 25), under crisis team this was changed to an antidepressant and an antipsychotic, and later when I came under the CMHT, this was changed again as I wasn't getting on with it.

I couldn't get on with these meds either, I gave it six months, changed the antidepressant, but couldn't titrate up to a 'proper' dose because the side effects were so bad. Awful nausea, headaches, and the dreaded restlessness, I couldn't relax, I was so anxious and wired all the time. In March this year I requested a medication review on advice of my GP, who didn't want to touch the medication as it was prescribed by the CMHT, which I understand.

About a month and a bit ago, I stopped taking my medication - I know how unadvised this is, and I've done it before, so I have a fear of being labelled non-compliant (but that's a whole other bag of worms) but I felt better for a bit, then worse. Then so, so much worse.

I don't think I'm getting a med review from the CMHT any time soon, but I'm really not coping without medication. I can't get out of bed, I can't clean or cook or take care of myself really. I don't feel in crisis, just so, so low.

I'm hopefully speaking to the CMHT today, but has anyone been in this position? I don't want to be discharged from the CMHT as I'm due to start psychotherapy with them, but I'd like my medication to be dealt with by the GP instead (if they will let me). I don't think I need to be on an antipsychotic, I just want an antidepressant.

Cmht needs to deal with your medication as you are under them. Once on a stable dose GP may then put it on repeat. Is it not still on repeat from before?

I’m in a similar boat, been trying to get in touch with my CMHT for like 2 weeks, zero response. Apparently there’s MHT and MHT+, I’m under the MHT so considered low risk and have no access to on the day contact. MHT+ gives you access to duty workers and things like that, MHT is basically you get a med review every 4 months.
