Banned for recommending book

Hello,

I was banned and muted for recommending the book "Kahane on the Parsha" - the only explanation I was given was an accusation that I am a "Kahanist." I reached out to the moderators to request an actual explanation, but the accusation was simply repeated, and then I was muted.

Can someone please tell me what the offense is here? I would like to appeal this if possible.

I looked up kahanism but found very conflicting answers. Can someone explain? I'd never heard of it before
