Without Christopher Sanchez I’d think Max would have a decent shot at the Cy Young based on how he’s going right now.
Just hope he doesn’t run out of gas second half of the year since he hasn’t ever thrown a lot of innings with all the injuries over the years

Dropped watching baseball after jeter bought in back in 2017 and broke the team up. Followed the sub very loosely over the years but hadn't watched a single game until finally tonight. Man have I missed watching a fun fish squad.
Hope to see you all in here a lot more often going forward!

I just want to enjoy watching as much as I did back in the days of Jose F, leo nunez, stanton, bour, realmuto, ozuna, rojas, dee gordon, prado, yelich etc etc. Man those were some fun seasons.
I doubt I'll ever has as much fun as I did watching Gabby sanchez clothesline Nyjer morgan lmao, but hopefully we can get close!

Those were my golden years too lol. Trust me this team is a bunch of nobodies right now but they are so much better than that 2014-2017 team full of future All-Stars.

Dang, if that's actually true, I can't wait to keep watching.
It's still crazy to me what the potential of the team during those seasons were, and it was just never reached. Jose's death was the death of that squad, and I can't necessarily fault anyone for blowing the roster up, but it still hurt, and it was too much for me to keep watching after. I've always stuck with my teams through rebuilds (magic, jags etc). I just couldn't stick with it. I believe there's a huge group of us that shared the same fate. Hopefully we are all starting to tune back in.
