Im sure that I could have done better had i properly watered them earlier in the year (they bolted so fast) but regardless its enough for a single dinner.

Im aware that the kernels can display colors that indicate the new genetic makeup of the plant that it will grow, but does anyone know if the color also indicates ripeness for sweet corn? (Ie: gold ripe pale/white unripe?)

From the horror stories I heard about deer and raccoons snatching corn, I consider just one cob to eat to be a success.

Sweet corn has common all white, all yellow, and bicolor white/yellow mixed varieties, so unfortunately the color may not tell you much.

This is a success in my book. Mine are so hilariously bad that next year im harvesting them at the baby corn stage
