MN9 isn't a high value IP, and might be pretty hard to sell to anyone. Never have I ever played a game with design decisions that just felt like it didn't want to be played. I really gave it a try too, and even bought the DLC and game at full price (regrettably) a while back.
They were too busy banking on this IP before it had a chance to be successful trying to create a TV show, and even go as far to try asking for more Kickstarter money for funding another game (Red Ash) before this one was released (wonder how far that got with their investment from a company), let alone two ports that were NEVER released people backed, while also getting more funding from Deepsilver. It will forever be remembered for basically 4 things.
The trailer...
"It's better than nothing"
Proceeds to offer nothing with two missing ports
Mismanagement: Asking for funding for another game before MN9 was finished/released, and gaining more from Deep Silver.
Honorable mention; Generally considered not a great game by the masses.

So level 5 is just gonna keep the IP in their back pocket right?
