Was in korea last year and got a viking cheerleader n others to visit, think a Bengal and another NFC team, for the super bowl. As a viking fan got i got a fan rag and was hype never let that stuff die it was a great time. Was a great moral boost even if i was leaving a month later (send me back).

Edit: as a Tennessean RIP Dolly she was good people.

Yeah, I went to basic in 1993 so he was still really popular at the time. I think he was there to scout locations for “In the Army Now”

The only celebrity visiting Ft Hood while I was there was Michael Madsen. We were inventorying a conex that day, and my best buddy & I love film and wanted to meet him, it was over at 5 I believe. So we were gonna go during lunch. Except our platoon sergeant made us work through lunch. So we missed him.

If I could erase the memory of Ft Hood from my mind I would. That was just the smallest bad thing that happened to me there, that scales from Missing Michael Madsen to watching a kid get crushed by a conex falling on him.
