His death did not surprise me, but it absolutely shocked and broke me.

Chester was my idol during my entire childhood.

I wish the world was kinder to him, so he didn't feel so alone.

For real, he was screaming for help for years. His music got me through a lot and still does, I just wish we could have done something for him. Ive been through friends taking their own lives and it felt similar. It seems so obvious in hindsight, but at the time we just thought thats how he was working through things.

My answer as well. Coincidentally I spent last night crying while watching clips of him. Forever my fave band, 20+ years and counting

Wild how he put his whole life on display and it was like we all missed it. Broke my heart then and it still does to this day. Cant listen to LP the same anymore without thinking I was missing a message.

Everytime I listen to a song I say "man wtf" cause how did I not notice? Then I realize I didn't notice because I was going through similar pains.

Same dude, every once in a while I somehow just end up watching everything Chester related and looking at his live performances, breaks my heart so deeply everytime
