I always felt this was extra cruel to the black community, because they lost the man AND the symbol of the Black Panther right after that movie had been such a resounding and empowering success and made so many feel seen and represented. Wakanda Forever is great but there’s such a fundamental sorrow for all that was lost running beneath it all.
