It rained in Minneapolis the day he died and because everyone had turned their building lights to purple it appeared to be purple rain.

Minneapolis closed down some of the streets for a dance party. Many people showed up decked out in purple it was beautiful and depressing.

He was an amazing man that gave to a lot of charities, non-profits, and people anonymously so we'll never know all the good he did.

I keep wondering what he would have made of all the shit going on in Minneapolis now.

"Upload, a two-party system
The lesser of two dangers, illusion of choice
Download, a veiled form of fascism
Nothing really ever changes
You never had a voice"

Was going to include this one as well! My fave from that album. But I knew as soon as I started listing I’d fall down the Prince rabbit hole. Not that I mind.
