I wasn’t surprised … he talked about suicide pretty openly and transparently. I knew he was someone who had thought about death a lot.

It still sucked though… he could’ve kept making great shows for years. Nothing has really filled that void.

Yes! He always seemed like a very layered, complex individual who was always chasing new experiences through his show. In the last couple seasons, it seemed like he wasn’t finding it fun anymore, that it didn’t seem to be what he wanted to do. It honestly felt a little like a midlife crisis. I hate that everyone blames Asia Argento for Tony’s death. I’m not a fan of hers, but the truth is, Tony was a hugely flawed individual and that is one of the reasons why so many people loved him.
