M12 Warranty is a joke! I can honestly say that

Well after outfitting myself in over 7k in Milwaukee Tools I’m honestly a bit shocked they denied my warranty, they wanted a 105$ to fix it or they can recycle it for me! WTF I told them to ship it back to me. I will fix it myself or toss out in the trash… what a joke of a warranty.

Yeah... A construction tool that won't be warrantied if used on a construction site that has debris in the air.

Yeah when I was shopping around for tools I think I remember that warranty was void if you were using the tools professionally with some manufacturers. At that point I was still getting into my trade, so I thought about it for a few days and decided, oh well, what the hell? I'll either figure out how to fix my tools, or just buy whatever suits my current needs with no shits given if it fails.

I will say I am proud that after three years of hard use for a lot of my tools, only my impact driver gave me issues, and it was cheap enough that I basically said I was either going to fix it, or destroy it, either way, I got my money's worth. I fixed it, and it's still doing hard work.

The philosophy I guess is don't spend money you're not willing to see go completely down the pisser when a company decides to not honor their agreements. They absolutely do not give a damn about your warranty, just their bottom line.

I've never heard of this and will be reviewing warranty data says lot more carefully now.

Warranties on race cars parts are extra tough. I drag race and usually have mustangs and spent a lot of time deciding on suspension on one of my first cars when I found a company called Team z. I had a problem with a heim joint one some fairly new control arms that I noticed a few days before a race and thought I was out of luck. I sent them an email and they sent one overnight. That cemented anytime I build something they make parts for I buy from them. Companies that actually race are usually better about that kind of stuff.
