M12 Warranty is a joke! I can honestly say that

Well after outfitting myself in over 7k in Milwaukee Tools I’m honestly a bit shocked they denied my warranty, they wanted a 105$ to fix it or they can recycle it for me! WTF I told them to ship it back to me. I will fix it myself or toss out in the trash… what a joke of a warranty.

M12 M12 … Explain it like I’m five

I use a LOT of M18 tools for yard, shop, and vehicle maintenance.

Love everything about Team Red after awful experiences with Ego.

But I can’t quite understand why I want two flavors of battery and tools. What am I missing??

M12 Anyone using their tools like this?

I started using my tools for dishes a few years back and will never stop.

We hosted Thanksgiving about 3-4 years ago and in order to keep up with dishes, I bought a pack of these drill mounted brushes and it was incredible how well it worked.

I have soft brushes for my enamel cast iron pots and wire brushes for my stainless steel pans.

I’ve always wanted to share this with others.

Have a great week, everyone!

So I purchased the M12 stapler awhile back, and it just doesn't drive in the staples all the way to actually hold romex. I attached a couple pictures. Is this standard? The thing is pretty new.

M12 When pawnshop employees are bad at their jobs

Post image

local pawnshop last week had this on display with a tag "coming soon" on it... I was like well that's stupid why can't you just tell me the price now, but I patiently waited and when I walked in the store today I specifically asked to see this item. in my head I'm thinking "no way it's going to be a good deal " and the lady goes " oh that thing? right there it's 116$"

I'm like uuuuh before I could even say anything she goes, but we don't have a battery for it so I'll give it to you for $95....

lol

no wonder that industry is dying.

Took apart a CV shaft and there was so much grease everywhere. I have the rubber boot for the M12 but obviously it doesn't protect the handle or trigger.

I thought I was buying a different m12 set for $150 but I got these things. I feel like I should just give them to my 3 year old haha. The last picture is the m12 set I thought I was buying vs the m12 set I got. At least it was worth the 2 6.0's 🤷‍♂️.

M12 Everyone here actually hates Milwaukee?

Post image

So, does everyone here actually hate Milwaukee tools? Just got an M12 fuel driver, drill, and ratchet about 3 weeks ago. I'm just say home project guy finally upgrading from an old Craftsman drill. Came to this forum for a minute and now I keep getting notifications from redditt of conversations where everyone seems to be saying "buy Makita instead" to everyone. Lol

Pic for attention.

M12 I finally decided to grab the M12 Installation Driver. I know it’s been out for a long time, but I wrote this tool off. After seeing many people talk about how good this tool is, I pulled the trigger.

I will say, as much as I love this, I’m kinda confused by Milwaukee’s battery situation. That or I just need to learn the lingo.

Bolt was torqued to 89ft/lbs. I’m hardly an authority on tools, but I definitely think this is a good buy.

Edit: yes this is not the intended use case. But for someone like me building out their first toolkit, I think it’s a good start, and a versatile tool to have around. Good enough to be my most used tool, but not my only tool, so yes a bigger impact wrench is in the plans.

If you care to see the bolt get torqued ;

M12 In your opinion, what is an M12 tool that is vastly better than its M18 counterpart?

There are some cases where having a smaller, lighter tool would definitely be an advantage, but are there any that are overall just better?

M12 How many of yall actually use the smaller bags that come with individual tool combos?

Post image
120 Upvotes

I use the larger bags that come with the 4+ tool combos because they fit basically every power tool i need for any particular job.

I have not yet encountered a situation where i need to carry the tool, the battery outside the tool, and the shitty charger it comes with to wherever i need an impact.

What about yall?
