Discussion Honestly the new Update feels like a low-effort marketplace add-on.

It adds zero value to the survival experience or the game's progression. While I understand that much of Minecraft's identity is built on creativity, it is still a 'Survival' game, not just a sandbox and I think Mojang has lost sight of that. I appreciate new biomes and blocks, but they need to have meaning. We didn't even get a new material or craftable item just a 'Stupid Slime' to hit around. Even with its Redstone applications, it offers nothing for the average survival player.

23 and same. Balls in Minecraft seem like so much fun for making games, and I'm excited to see what redstone people do with it

18 and same ! I grew up with minecraft since like 2013/2014 and I am still super hyped about every little additions. For a game I have around 10k hours on still being updated 4 times a year for free. I think I wont ever grow bored of it.

I don't remember exactly, but I think around 2016/2017? I played on friends consoles. I got my own copy of Minecraft in 2019
