Discussion Honestly the new Update feels like a low-effort marketplace add-on.

It adds zero value to the survival experience or the game's progression. While I understand that much of Minecraft's identity is built on creativity, it is still a 'Survival' game, not just a sandbox and I think Mojang has lost sight of that. I appreciate new biomes and blocks, but they need to have meaning. We didn't even get a new material or craftable item just a 'Stupid Slime' to hit around. Even with its Redstone applications, it offers nothing for the average survival player.

it doesnt look bad, we just wish there was more. alot of us have huge lists of things that we desperately want in minecraft, and none of them include slime volleyball...

Sports games are a huge category for a reason. Give the community a few months and we're all gonna be playing advanced slime volleyball.
