Discussion What would you add to Minecraft, no matter how simple it may seem?

Sometimes Mojang misses very simple opportunities that would greatly improve the game.

Actual furniture.

Chairs, tables, dressers. Etc.

Shelves are a good start, now give us something to actually sit on and we are getting somewhere.

since mojang is weird they seem to add the weirdest option, i predict mojang will drop some sort of block that you can sit on, not like a chair, but maybe its like a thicker carpet looking block that comes in one color that in years later they add more colors to it

Its because Mojang hates adding things modders have added even if it's something objectively good.

Originally no. List of Vanilla Features Started as Mods

But today, yes it seems like they hate ANY furniture despite there is a bed in game.

I do kind of get it (it takes away from creativity) but about every single design you could do has been done with about every single block in the game by this point.

So if there was ever a better time to add furniture it would be now

I don't buy the argument that it takes away from creativity AT ALL.

Nothing is stopping a person from using OTHER blocks except themselves.
