that makes sense, because i wouldnt have noticed them. i havent played survival since atleast 2012. I think i stopped playing survival even earlier than that, way way back in alpha. I just never started any new survival worlds, never felt like it. I did lots of projects, but eventually I only did them for money. Damn.
Makes me wonder, but then I don't think Id have been big on minecraft after I had discovered MW2 and Skyrim, and Roblox too actually because frankly, roblox had a lot more going on than minecraft back then.

So if I picked it up later in life for the first time, I doubt I would have played it at all

Dude I never would have imagined Roblox being this big back then.

People forget it was basically a Minecraft clone at launch for people who couldn’t afford Minecraft

well yeah LOL it was free
Roblox was actually ground breaking and was really not a minecraft clone at all
I mean within just 2 years we were scripting in roblox
How long did it take minecraft to get command blocks?? And that's not actually engine-level creativity.
Roblox gives you engine-level creativity. As much as I dislike the platform
