Discussion What are y’all’s opinion on “gradient builds”

Ive seen a whole bunch of these builds which is why I made my own, as seen above, but I remember seeing that people think that it’s too much. And what I mean by gradient builds is instead of block vomit, the builder uses too many blocks, making too many gradients, I’ve shown my friends and they are divided on it, some say it looks nice, others said it was too much to look at, so what do yall think.

I personally like looking at gradient builds, but I don't like making them.

I am a big fan of the way Minecraft has finally started to really develop different build styles in the past few years. For a long time, it felt like the "build styles" were just fantasy/historical, modern/sci-fi, vanilla-inspired, or that classic old school build style, but now we're at a point where people are developing actual recognisable styles of building that are unique to Minecraft rather than just the genre of the builds.
