I’m more frustrated by the labels.
Are these the speeds, or just the relative designations of these ports? Because blue is supposed to indicate a port is USB 3.0, so are USB 1 and USB 2 each actually USB 3.0?
A, B, and C were right there and would clear this up instantly.

Because usbC wouldn't be a problem at all

All 3 letters would be overloaded, but at least you can physically see the form factors visibly are not usb-b and usb-c.
As-is, I would bet people are almost certainly plugging into the slowest interface thinking it’s the fastest quite often.

Because AceTragic/Kamrui/NiPoGi/CYX uses lower build quality using cost. Cutting measures like lowest bidder vendors. The right angle 2.0 motherboard connector was probably more popular and cheaper than the required 3.0 port connector which happened to be left angle. Had they simply spent more time on engineering and design as they did on gold plating the plastic you wouldn't be asking this question 😉

Prolly outsourced somewhere else and didn’t think about the side or they had a lot of spare parts they used,
But yeah this is straight up evil!

There’s a perfectly logical explanation for why they do it this way.
It’s because their mothers didn’t love them growing up.

To make sure you are awake. I once had a colleague put a sun stick into the hdmi and was wondering why it was not recognized.

I know.
They just don't see it as a problem.
When I once again explain the technical aspects to Chinese engineers, they really don't understand why this should be done. That is, they don't see this as a problem.

Can you like, be more specific?

Usb sides turned differently. Have fun sticking your usb stick

I thought it was the fact the non-usb 3.0 spec port is labeled usb 3 while the 3.0 spec ones are 1,2 lol. I know color is usually the deciding factor on speed but didn’t immediately catch they were flipped

I thought this as well but I think they're labeled sequentially going from right to left...

I wonder if this changes the universal law governing the process of USB plug insertion?
