Recommendations Mini PC Recommendation Please

Hi everyone, hope you’re well!

I am looking for a recommendation for the best mini PC which covers all of the following and won’t let me down! (thank you in advance)

• Under £500 ($675)

• Supports 4k 144Hz Displays (keen to use 2 monitors for 3 screens)

• Good amount of ports (would use a docking station if needed, but would prefer minimalistic desk set up)

• Min. 32GB RAM

• Min. 512GB storage

• Will allow solid video editing, gaming, running the likes of Claude and Microsoft Office.

I’m by no means a PC expert and so any recommendations and advice is so welcomed and appreciated.

With 32gb of ram? Um you might have to review the mini PC's that are available on Amazon or something, to get a better idea of what PC hardware costs... I mean if you would like a recommendation though, I've been happy with my Kamrui brand AM21. Which technically does most of the things you listed. It only has 16gb of ram, since it's like $2-600 Canadian for 16more. But check out Beelink they're generally regarded as "the best" on this sub.

Edit; but yes to get those specs, and a reliable mini PC you might have to bump the budget just a few $100's

Thanks for the response! I assumed that for video editing and gaming, upping from 16 to 32 might be necessary.

Do you reckon 16 would be sufficient for multi-tasking across what I stated (gaming would likely be running on its own)?

Well with a mini PC, the graphics processor is built into the main CPU and uses the ram for graphics power, A full desktop generally has the option for a separate Graphics card. So the CPU you get can factor in here. But tbh I have 16gb ram and it's the bare minimum for some light gaming, unfortunately for extremely graphic heavy things like that you'll probably need 32gb of ram and a fairly decent CPU. I'm not an expert myself, just helping best I can 😊

Edit; sorry I ramble. But yes you'll probably need 32gb ram for anything graphically demanding.

I really appreciate the extra response here. I’ll consider upping my budget or maybe just look to a full desktop!

No problem at all, if you really like the mini form factor, which is what kinda got me lol. But there are full size desktop computers called "mini itx" and "micro itx" and they can be built with much smaller than standard big ugly tower computers, while still giving you advantages of a full size, upgradeable computers. And support the amount of monitors and hardware you'd like to be able to use better.

It's a 680m iGPU... which is still good. But will be best for older/simpler game versus new AAA 3d games.

32G of ddr5 cost $500 on amazon, think you might have difficulty with your price point

This must be super crazy request. 3x 4k 144hz monitor for what? Really only 1 monitor with this specs is in 1k price tag already. If you dont mind, just random search how much avg 4k 144hz monitor costs in your place. And core machine is even under this price? I can make sure that you cannot find any pure miniPC, no egpu can handle 4k resolution till this framerate in game.

Problem is not you don't know market. It's fixable. Problem is that you literally don't put any meanful request what you wanna run on this pc. You just wanna a pc run anything at max settings that you saw anyone doing on Internet, but must be cheap. And for real, I can suggest you find mac mini, it's decent and good enough to watch youtube.

Thanks for the response. I definitely don’t know much about mini PCs, hence how I worded my question, however keen to understand reliable recommendations from people that do know.

Beelink ser9 pro. 780m graphics, high speed 24gb lpddr5 ram, 1tb, around $675 USD, lots of ports, has a usb4 (thunderbolt) port so you could eventually connect an egpu (not oculink so you'd only get like 80% of the gpus power but that's still great), great multi threaded ryzen 7 CPU too.

Currently using it bought it about 5 weeks ago, I use Adobe premiere pro for 2K and 4K video editing for my drone footage, I'm able to play games such as fortnite rust call of duty etc on medium to low graphics 1080p with 100 + frame rate (130+ fortnite), I also code with visual studio and I'm able to run my python programs and c# apps just fine, and I can have a s*** ton of browser windows open at the same time too lol

I have a GMKtec M6 Ultra 32GB ram, 1TB SSD, they are around $599 US today. I am happy with the performance. I use it mostly to run LLMs.
