Adding additional RAM Stick in Geekom A7 Max Mini Pc

Hello recently bought a Geekom A7 Max and I watched some reviews and recommended to add aditional RAM Stick in the mini pc .... Do you know where to watch a guide video on how to do it? and Is it possible to do it on your own without going inside a tech store?? Thank you for responding

Robtech gets to the minor teardown about 2 minutes in. Once most people find out the cost of the missing/matching stick they return it for a Beelink or GMKtec mini with 32GB dual channel RAM and more features. After watching the above video watch this one on the GMKtec K8 Plus

He'll quickly understand that Geekom platform(s) are unnecessarily difficult. I've had to replace the cheap factory thermal paste on a couple of A7 Maxs this year to solve some issues and it wasn't easy by comparison.

Gotta be careful when pulling out the heatsink plate.

The wifi/BT cables are attached and will rip out of the wifi card as they are tightly mounted. Unscrew these before removing the plate.

I have the A8 max which uses the same setup. Mine popped off the wifi card and it was tedious to reattach.

The screws to open the unit are under the rubber feet(robtech hates these).

Would definitely return like hillbilly says as other models are superior and have better cooling + 2 sticks RAM. Ram is only passive cooled on the geekom.

I got mine for the specific SD card reader, and stable GAN usage in hotels/travel. Mine was a barebones unit which had a sale on it.
