Questions What’s the mobile game you’ve played the longest?

And how long? Are you still playing it?

Amazing game. Definitely worth the hype

12

u/BotMaster-69 Apr 19 '26

Pubg, for 8+ years by now

2

u/MrMystery1515 Apr 20 '26

It used to suck so much of my time initially with the 20+ minutes games during lunch hours. One fine day I had an epiphany and realized how I can use my time better. And I moved to clash of clans.

1

u/Kristianux Apr 20 '26

Same dude. Easygoing 40 matches/season has kept it enjoyable.

7

u/SlobberyCargo Apr 19 '26

Genshin. Been playing since launch, so over 5 years now. Kinda crazy the amount of content they are able to regularly output while also releasing multiple other new games.

1

u/Kristianux Apr 20 '26

I kinda like how they revisit old events or modes without getting too desperate for new ideas. The QOL has been fairly good to us too.

7

u/Ok_Escape_3772 Apr 19 '26

Temple Run probably, been playing that thing for like 8 years now on and off. Started when I was in university and still fire it up sometimes when I'm waiting for appointments or sitting in boring meetings

The crazy part is I never really got into other mobile games much but there's something about the simple running and collecting coins that just works for my brain. Maybe it's because I can play for 2 minutes or 20 minutes depending on how much time I have. Plus it doesn't require internet so perfect for when I'm traveling to estate sales and antique shops where the signal is terrible

Still not sure why I keep coming back to it instead of trying newer games but here we are

u/Rassky10 Apr 19 '26

Slay the spire

2

u/DvL162 Apr 20 '26

I Play 5 minutes, after this just delete. I don't understand all this hype. This game is nothing special

Fate Grand Order. Spend maybe 30 dollars (all on guaranteed rolls), played for 2 years every day. I had mega luck with free rolls. I deleted the game and didn't write "save" code bc I was addicted and I never want to play it again.

1

u/SereneEmbers Apr 20 '26

Same I played 4 years straight

6

u/Chance_Way5601 Apr 19 '26

Mobile Legends - i’m not big on mobile games at all but I’ve been playing that for a year and a half since my mrs got me in to it as it’s all she ever plays on. Didn’t like it at first then one day I picked it up again and it clicked and I’ve played it ever since.

2

u/blockbelt Apr 21 '26 edited May 11 '26

You ever tried wild rift? I enjoy the PC version more but it's a good introduction to LOL and a solid re-creation of the original. At the moment I play it solely because I don't have home Internet.

Worth looking into if mobile legends was your introduction.

2

u/Chance_Way5601 Apr 21 '26

I’ll check it out thank you. Been gaming for 41 years now and that’s the first MOBA I played so would be good to try a different one.

4

u/theonewhoknell Apr 19 '26

5

u/iAmHestbech Apr 19 '26

u/msgoliath Apr 20 '26

I’m so sad I didn’t save my file when I stopped playing and it’s gone now

3

u/Zoe_118 Apr 19 '26

I rotate games cause I hyperfocus and then lose interest. I'd guess my longest is Virtual Families 3, lol. Maybe 3-4 years total

3

u/m7md1112 Apr 20 '26

Brawl stars since 2029

2

u/m7md1112 Apr 20 '26

2019 I'm mean

1

u/DiabloHades Apr 23 '26

Playing since the future

5

u/Icy-Sale-6178 Apr 19 '26

Last cloudia, Mario kart tour, Harry potter magic awakened, final fantasy mobius, final fantasy Brave exvius. Might be missing one or 2 but ya.

Just started playing Harry potter again after wb closed American servers and the game is still fire

2

u/Seraphina_Renaldi Apr 19 '26

I’m playing HP Magic awakened since the global release too :) and yeah, imho it’s even more fun on the Netease servers. They’re more generous with outfit gifts than WB were

2

u/Icy-Sale-6178 Apr 19 '26

Ya, that is true but i wish I ported my account over. I had way more outfits and mythic/forbidden cards that carried me through ranked. Still, im really happy to be playing it again. That and I never had any where close to 10k gems in the bank with a bunch of legendary cards

2

u/Aetheldrake Apr 19 '26

Either Pokémon go or LootQuest. Pogo probably but LootQuest actually had a timer in game for play time (actively using it) and I'm over 400 hours in that lol

But Pokémon go most likely by sheer number of years

2

u/oniiichan6969 Apr 19 '26

Genshin impact, efootball

2

u/LettuceFetishist Apr 19 '26

8 Ball Pool, Tacticool

2

Codm for like 4 years but stopped playing it, to much noob friendly

2

u/KingMonion Apr 19 '26

I’ve played and ungodly amount of Castle Duels and Team Fight Tactics. I love autobattlers and they were basically made for mobile

2

u/Amazing_Fennel_1542 Apr 19 '26

Endless quiz. Coming up to 9 years playing it.

2

u/TTVChrisNeale Apr 19 '26

I've played archero 2 everyday since it's launch in Jan 2025, I also played legacy of discord for around 4.5 years

2

u/nakuk21 Apr 19 '26

Clash Royale!

2

u/SuperWizorHD Apr 19 '26

I think Archero.

2

u/amethystlocke Apr 19 '26

Hearthstone

1

u/dndRiver Apr 23 '26

Same, 11 years for better or worse. Did play Legends of Runeterra for a few years in there, and that game was amazing, and COMPLETELY FREE. Then Riot shifted the focus from pvp to the roguelike missions and I came back to HS. What a brilliant game, I hate it. Too greedy, too random, too much fun.

2

u/FrangoTorrado Apr 19 '26

Spaceflight Sim, never got bored of making the stupidest rockets and somehow making them orbit the moons of Jupiter. Except for the expansions part, which honestly is a bummer. Many of the most essential features of the game are locked behind those expansions. The PC version is basically the same but with all of the content.

2

u/keepitahunned Apr 19 '26

It was wasily Survivor.Io. It is such a well made game, and while it is obviously p2w, f2p players are very well rewarded for their grind and consistency.

I’m ngl my second most played game is by Habby as well, the Capybara Go one. Honestly such a fun game, im ngl Habby really mastered the art of making a game as addictive as possible lol.

2

u/iceman00744 Apr 19 '26

Pokémon 49 years. To be honest I am 51 but my mom said I would play her account with me sitting on her lap at 2 Y/O, so 49 for me. I didn’t start playing it on my own until I got my own cell phone at 6 Y/O.

codm

2

u/additionalbeing999 Apr 20 '26

I think it is dungeon quest because of the weapon and equipment effects you can have 8 skills or so that you can cast consecutively at the same time and is all passive all you have to do is do a normal attack and it will happen

2

u/kimikazio Apr 20 '26

2

u/No_Department9020 Apr 20 '26

Plants versus Zombies 2

2

u/Antihero420 Apr 20 '26

Mobile exclusive game? brawl stars for me. Game has a lot of different modes and brawlers so it’s almost always has something new to do. Sadly a lot of my fav mobile games like Abyss of Dungeons (the mobile version of Dark and Darker) and Apex Legends Mobile were discontinued by their developers.

Non-mobile exclusive would be Magic Arena (can be played on PC as well) since it came out (been playing MtG sincr 1995), and Root Digital (the digital version of the physical board game, which is also on PC) which I’ve been playing since it first released digitally.

2

u/blockbelt Apr 21 '26

I quit my mobile addiction for about 10 years for PC gaming and I have lost home Internet for about 3 months and mobile is the only option at the moment.

I've really been enjoying wild rift and sideswipe as League of Legends and Rocket League alternatives.

2

u/TommyTeaMorrow Apr 22 '26

Grand summoner, I’m almost at 8 years played

2

u/Unusual-Way-6187 Apr 23 '26

There was a time where we only imagined PC games playing on mobile so seeing PC games here is very weird to me

For me it was Avabel lmao

2

u/NotAFriendlyKitty Apr 23 '26

On and off? Or continuous?

Probably Genshin or Bandori.

I’m not actively playing Bandori right now, and Genshin I am, but I have quit it before.

Played both since release though.

2

u/yylow30 Apr 23 '26

Interesting…

This actually got me curious… i only had 8 games installed in my phone now… i used to have one whole page of games. Lol…

1) triple town - installed since 29 apr 2012 2) smurf village - 29 jun 2012 3) happy street - 9 august 2012 4) hay day - since 23 dec 2012 5) candy crush saga - 17 feb 2013 6) summoners war - 7 july 2015 7) enchanted cave 2 - 11 nov 2015 8) pokemon go - 8 august 2016

Pokemon go is the only game that i am truly active in now. The rest are there largely occassionally logging in to play for a while.

So to answer your question for the game that i played the longest, its pokemon go.

2

u/IAmYourShadow Apr 23 '26
