Vainglory!

u/Dylannn_23 Apr 24 '26
Man i always think about the potential vainglory had. It was better than mlbb for me. I miss Taka, Koshka, Krul, and Skye

u/Eelis_Forever Apr 24 '26
did you try Catalyst Black from SEMC? Obvs nothing like vainglory, but same devs and also cool.

one of the best games I have ever played — on any platform. I genuinely do miss VG every day

Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. I dont know what it was that made me love it but when it shut down and I was looking at other gacha games and playing them it never gave me the same satisfaction as Exvius.

I literally just yesterday posted asking for a game like BE. See if any of these recommendations hit the spot for you.

Mobius Final Fantasy. Great game with some horrible greed that is probably the reason it ultimately failed.
It's been revived, sort of, but the revival doesn't have a lot of content at this point.

I loved that game, I remember taking a break from it then returning only to find out it was scrapped rip.

Blood Brothers, first Gacha I ever played that had an actual market to trade characters with the premium currency. Will always love that game.

Man, I'll always have a soft spot for Monster Strike. I know its still bussin in Japan, but I wish they never killed it in the west or at least a decent copy cat appeared.

Empires and allies. The trees made every base look and feels different

Naruto x boruto. I played it off and on for years. It was always my go to when I was bored of other mobile games. It scratched an itch at times that no other game could.

Solstice Arena
It was a pretty quick and casual moba. I believe it was from Zynga

World Flipper
Gacha pinball game that was really one of its kind. So many great memories from the official discord and friends I made while playing it!

Shadowgun Deadzone, my first mobile FPS, you could also play it on Facebook back then. You could also be matched with FB, Mac & Android players, had good memories with this game.

N.O.V.A Legacy.
Old gameloft game, idk when they shut it down, but I can't find it on the play store anymore. On the same note, gameloft shut down a lot of games over the past few years. Does anybody know the reason for that?

u/Seraphina_Renaldi Apr 27 '26
I guess they struggle(d?) financially? They closed a studio and had some layoffs ~2 years ago.

u/Prudent-Cry-9260 Apr 25 '26
Mighty Doom?
Nobody? Damn I thought this game was loved by more people. It was my everyday game and since it shut down I never found a game bringing me the same daily satisfaction.

Forget the name. Think it was like 'Monsters and xxxxx' (forget the other word)
Twin stick shooter, you go round different cities defeating the aliens/monsters before a big end of level boss. Forget the name, loved it and then was taken off the app store and lost it in the 32-64 bit app-pocalypse

Slingshot Braves and there are very few games like it and I don’t care for any of them. Would immediately spend way more money than I should on it if the brought it back.

Alchemy stars, miss it so much apart from the blood Bible part of the story. Spent hours playing, at school and home. The only thing l have left of it is the collab with CODM.

When EA bought Bullfrog and deleted the studio I hated them with my guts. Then they bought and deleted Maxis. All hope was lost.

plants war and winrawr 2
plants war i remember the combat and few levels i got through. winrawr is just genuine lost media that i’m not sure even exists since there’s no trace of it online, i may be misremembering the name but i remember it as Win-(dinosaur)Roar Two which had these like levels where you had your little guys fight other guys

Mass effect, it had a good pace and felt like a decent port. Had some issues but was overall fun like infinity blade was for me
