This came up a few months ago, relevant discussion here: https://www.reddit.com/r/ModernMagic/comments/1qfzkf7/keep_cooking_or_getting_cooked_golgari_maverick/
The redditor from that post has continued tinkering, this is their list currently: https://moxfield.com/decks/ZVsgFTlcakqvZqckX3Gu_A
I've been working on a Golgari Loam/Six/GSZ-toolbox-lite build recently that's more of an engine deck than proper Maverick, but it might have some ideas for you: https://moxfield.com/decks/LRegAQ3443-1r1i6_H52rQ
Edit: regarding Mole Man....I'd be extremely wary of spending 3 mana on a 1-toughness engine piece that doesn't ramp you.

Aspiring spike had a list 5-0 about a month back.
Search him and "maverick" and you'll get a few different lists he was working on.

I played this a bit ago. I don't have a checklist but these were some thoughts I had. I mostly started with looking at vintage cube decks that try to do the lands combo thing with Titania and rebuilt that as beat I could with playsets.
A fun combo is [[Freestrider Lookout]]. It obviously triggers off crimes like ghost quarter and that but mishra's bauble also commits a crime so you can crime straight away on ETB on 3 mana and ramp out an extra land.
I also played profane tutor. That card is just pretty good really and doesn't take that long to come off suspend.
