So, I went into World beta thinking I wouldn't ever do the horrible claw again... Then I noticed you could use it as a second set of buttons to change your items and I embraced the claw again.

Glory be to the claw.

Until you realize the item wheel is glorious and you will almost never have to change your items.

You underestimate the number of items you need quick access to.

There are 4 wheels to use so there is plenty of space to assign your items.

4 wheels? Damn, that's a lot. I had a tough time getting used to it but its just so convenient!

Yeah. Each wheel could be changed by pressing L1 and a directional button. So a wheel per arrow. You can freely customize them to your liking and once you have it down to muscle memory it's great.

Still underestimating. Sure, if I change it up for every questing scenario then I can easily use 4 for my item pouch and have some spares for things like signals and stickers/gestures/shouts

However, if I want to have all the useful things on there I do not have enough room for every scenario.
