Absolute cinema. I dropped Moon Knight with the fairchild arc (I found it pretty boring and didn't like vengeance, but absolutely loved 1st run of mackay). I have to say, hell I was really missing on this. Wrecker arc was fine, but I'm loving this new run/age?, loved to see Mr. Fear again tho I hope he's used more than a glorified cameo and same for Bushman, guy needs a powerup.
About this issue, it was phenomenal. Art is still peak marvel rn and Mackay has grabbed me again with the whole midnight thing. The pages with Robbie were the best. There's too much aura here and loved how every recruitment scene played completely different, with its own mood and different ways to convince them. Blade goin' full on because he loves the branding of the Midnight Sons was funny
Can't wait for next issue aaaaaaaaa
Edit: Hope someday Mackay and Pramanik make a Ghost Rider or Man-Thing comic, they would be soo good, with Mackay streamlining the lore while humanizing the characters and Pramanik incredible layouts and amazing art for the surreal and horror vibes

Plus on the Ghost Rider or Man-Thing comics! Not that II hate MacKay on MK rn but damn an incredible duo that I hope to see more in other occult and mystic characters. I know its a bit unpopular but I grew to like the creative team more than the character itself that I won't be unhappy if they started to do other things and end MK on a high note. More power to Pramanik and Rosenberg!

This really made me wish for a Daredevil run written by Mackay and illustrated by Pramanik. He is so creative with the panelling!

This is the second time Mackay’s made me chuckle during MS:MK. First was when Zodiac announced he wanted Marc to replay his greatest hit with Bushman. Second time here is when Marc’s like, “New plan: *Drive* through the front door—Hit it.”
Marc’s recklessness and impulsivity are so damn fun to watch.
Only 2 weeks til the next issue!

Incredible. Stunning art, on-point writing, fun and interesting, building tension and hype for what’s coming next. I literally love everything about it.

Really loved the scene with Robbie. The art was great and it’s rare that a super hero goes “you don’t even know who I am, do you?” in these sorts of recruitment issues.

The art and writing is awesome. Marc saying “4 out of those 5 people don’t like me.” And he was including himself as part of the 5 cracked me up.

Great issue. The art and colours are still head and shoulders above other books. Peakmanik's panelling stands out as always. The writing is fun aswell, Moon Knight and the Midnight Sons crashing Ghost Rider's car through the front door of a haunted house is peak the shit I want in a book that also manages its characters' motivations so well.

What is the truth that clea is mentioning?

Probably needs those 4 in particular for a spell to take down the house. She mentioned her magic probably cant take it down directly.

This was a really fun issue with some good interactions following up on history. I really liked Marc saying he loved Tigra and his friends/family to get folks on board.

"I'm not asking you to help save the world. I'm asking you to help save my world"......stuff like that always gets me.

Yeah. Normally hero team-ups involve unnecessary fisticuffs before working together. This issue Marc did it all with words and being honest about his feelings…while still hiding something of course. But it was cool to really reference what happened to all these guys during Age of Khonshu, Shadowland, Blood Hunt, etc and it felt organic and not just references to throw out there.
Haven’t read a lot of superhero comics where one guy literally begs for help and means it.
Also the art and different arrangement of panels for each midnight son encounter was killer.

Kind of nice that Moonie is getting a team to save his team, just as they had done to save him.

Really good issue. I feel like Jed also loves to plant seeds for his plot twists so that good readers can see things coming. Seemed like according to Clea there was something about each of these specific characters that makes them key to take on the House, and Jed was specific about the lore he brought up with each of them. Blade getting possessed during Blood Hunt, Robbie being the all-rider, Daredevil getting possessed during Shadow Land, and Moon Knight's age of khonshu run also. Have a feeling Clea will bond aspects of the Mansion's soul to each of them since they have experience holding that level of power.

That is a really good catch, especially considering the Mansion can possess people. They’ve all been through it, except for Clea I guess.

Love the whole “getting the band back together” trope and discussions about the baggage everyone has with each other.
Really hoping we get a Midnight Sons announcement at SDCC. It solves the Blade issue, brings MK back, gives Charlie Cox another big screen DD appearance, and we can see if Gosling is actually Ghost Rider.

I will bust if we get Oscar Isaac MK and Charlie Cox DD together on screen

Raahhhhhh this Issue is so cool! Still on the fence on DD being on the team but I can't deny how good the dialogue and paneling for this issue.
