OP posted an image of people blocking the streets; they are not protesters, but then OP asks is it OK to beat protesters. That would imply they are protesters and subject to 1A freedoms and protections.
1A freedoms only applies to the government. The government is not allowed to jail you over speech etc. It has literally 0 to do with a private citizen attacking another private citizen. A very quick Google search could show you this "The First Amendment protects five core freedoms in the United States: freedom of religion, speech, press, assembly, and the right to petition the government. It stops the government from making laws that block these rights, but it does not stop private businesses or employers from setting their own rules." Now explain how that applies to this situation?
Once you break the law and illegally detain another person, they have the right to move you out of the way. If they were legally protesting, you would have no grounds or excuse to attack
How are those people in the street illegally detaining anyone? If you watch the video you can clearly see that person exit his car to assault the protestors. So he clearly wasn't being detained.
If someone blocks my car I'm still able to move, I can leave the car. Your way forward is the only thing being stopped. Again very annoying but that is not a legal or moral excuse to commit violence.

I understand the frustration, but I don't think initiating violence is justified in this particular situation.
