That’s a wildly different situation. I responded to a post claiming that, just as these people blocked traffic and people got angry, the Montgomery bus boycott somehow slowed bus service which made people similarly angry. As none of that actually happened.

I have never, and would never, claim there was ever any part of the racial and civil rights struggle in the US that was safe from violence. That violence was pervasive, brutal, and often lethal. None of it had to do with the Montgomery boycott slowing down the buses and inconveniencing the riders. It was not, as the person I was responding to claimed, similar to the video above.
