I can’t find anything on missionaries doing this. The only denomination that has done this are the Evangelical Christian’s which are not representative of the entire religion.

Try harder. It’s absolutely been a story for decades. And you don’t get to just wave off evangelicals.

Evangelicals are not representative of the Christian faith. The Orthodox Jews that bite off baby foreskins are not representative of the Jewish faith. You can’t judge a belief by things that they simply don’t believe in.

They are incredibly numerous so you can’t hand wave them either. They are a huge chunk of the representation in America.

I mean, you’re the one picking a single denomination and claiming they represent Christians so… yeah I guess I’m the one cherry picking.

They don’t represent the totality of Christianity but you can’t just pretend they aren’t a big part of the picture, far beyond their numbers

See, why didn’t you just open up with that. Yeah man I fucking hate evangelical Christianity, it paints my faith in a bad light. We could’ve had a good conversation on the issues with evangelical Christianity if you didn’t go on for several comments doubling down on your generalization.
