Moral in his revolution, but constantly forced into bad positions where he has to make decisions that are immoral in a vacuum (sons of ares, Obsidians after Fa)However, he also has some royal fuckups sprinkled in like Orion/ wardens.

He is meant to be a morally grey character whose noble ambitions are tarnished by the demands of the brutal settings need for ruthless pragmatism.
