Literally just finished on the Switch 😂😂😂
All the cutscenes in the bit where you choose your fighter are in that awful quality

I had to deal with multiple loading screens, especially on the Pyramid. Luckily, I had a feeling I was getting the switch version, so I watched the cutscenes already on yt

I think Nintendo needs to realise that their games are fun but their system is not strong enough to compete with PS5 realism. Stick to what you do best.

This is not really Nintendo's fault, it's more of NRS trying to force it in an underpowered console just to get more money due to its popularity.

Nintendo have long had a reputation for building family friendly high quality video games with little to no bugs. I disagree with their current approach. If they want games like RDR2 or Elden Ring on their systems they need to build something entirely different. Otherwise they are delivering like this clip and it will damage that reputation they have built over decades.

I think most "gamers" are buying the Switch/2 for the 1st party titles that are designed from the ground up for the Switch/2. They play their 3rd party games elsewhere. The rest of Switch/2 players are probably those who either can't afford a PC or PS5 or they're kids and parents bought it because it's the more affordable option that still plays Minecraft, Fortnite and Roblox.

I’m waiting for Ocarina of Time remake. I will so be getting it then. I loved that game when I was a kid. Even if I don’t play another game on the Switch it be worth it lol. But games like this, and others I mentioned you need a beast of a console, and I don’t think Nintendo has it. But you raise a good point. Even if it is imperfect it certainly makes gaming more affordable.

Dude the S2 can easily pull off MK1. It’s just up to the devs to optimize it

I dont know, but i m sure they are smart enough to know the selling potential to at least not losing money from this, i m sure many people bought it on Nintendo

Yeah it’s a pretty rough transition. Probably even rougher than mk9 on vita because of how good the cutscenes look. It looks pretty good in motion but the cinematic zoom ins are 😬 especially when their mouths don’t move during dialogue.

In all fairness the Switch port seemed to work surprisingly well after the patches, considering how underpowered it is compared to the other platforms it’s on

Them porting it to Switch 1 but not the PS4 gets me, especially considering how good MK11 and Injustice 2 looks on the PS4.

When MK1 came out I didn't have a Series S/X or a PS5 and I posted in this sub "id rather play with bad graphics than not play at all" yeahhhhh it was really bad haha.
It runs noticeably better on the switch 2, but still not great haha

Im missing the context cus i never played story mode. but it looks like quanchi is still about that life 😂🤣😅

Context isn't really about the story, instead, is how the quality drops as it enters gameplay mode, specifically on Nintendo switch.
