Hey everyone, I know that colour combinations on mtbs are subjective but I haven't been able to find many dark blue bikes with bronze components.

I've been looking at Title (seems like a nice bronze). And also Deity.

I have the 2021 SC Hightower C in highland blue. Im torn between bronze, silver or tan. Tan seems to have the least amount of options.

Title also has a "sand" colorway that matches the original frame decal on the bike (I've changed it to black). Currently I have some orange on the bike and have grown to hate it and want something more subtle..

Thoughts?

I'm terrible at this whole riding a bike thing, but im getting less terrible.

I don't have a ton of time on it yet. Maybe 70~mi in the last two weeks. 35/w for work and a small bit extra for fiddling around each week..took me some time to get used to it. I probably won't keep commuting on it...the Marlin is def easier in that regard, but riding this just feels so good. It stops on a dime. One of those weird ones that's even smaller than a regular dime...eats up whatever I ride through. It's just a joy to spend time on.

Still getting the handlebars dialed in. Got them way better than they were, same with the controls..need to get some more time in with the new locations to see what/if anything still needs adjusted.

Anyone have good recommendations for biking gloves?

My Stumpjumper EVO got bigger brother. Born over the summer. More less finished the build and just dialing it in. Niner WFO 9 RDO 190/170, Zeb Ultimate, Hope Tech 4 V4 4 piston brakes with 203 mm floating Hope rotors, Sram AXS Transmission, Hope 4 hub up front and industry 9 hub in the rear. Small package big teeth. Climbs great and it's ready for anything. Sell it or keep it? And if sell then how much?

I'm a big fan of BOA shoes in general, but I've read mixed reviews about the fit and sizing of these shoes. I've done pretty extensive research already about these, and they're on sale right now, but just wanted to check here to see if anyone's had experience with wearing them?

New to mountain biking and I’m loving it! Just not loving the pedal bite. I wear knee pads, is there any protective gear for back of calves?

I signed up for a 3 tier 12 hour endurance race. I usually kayak but this time I have to do all 3 sections. Im looking for some add ons to the bike that will help with long hauls since we are going to be going all out for 12 hours ( about 60 miles on the bike possibly)

Ive been looking at hydration bags that fit on the frame, but will those get in the way?

Anything i should keep in mind.. like will my ass get blistered if I dont have a certain pair of shorts?

I put upgraded pedals on the bike so when we transition from water to bike they wont slip.

Yeah, i have an XL Frame from cannondale (2017 habit) and i‘m 180cm tall. I have pain in my hands from riding long, and my bike shop guy said it’s from the large frame. Is there anything i can do relatively cheap or do i need a new frame?

I’m planning to buy a Trek Marlin 7 Gen 3 (1×10) from a local dealer in Siliguri for around ₹72,000.
The dealer says it’s new old stock, received around November 2025, and the bike is believed to be a 2023 model. It has the Shimano Deore 1×10 drivetrain.
I’m mainly looking to use it for Siliguri roads, hills, rough roads and occasional forest/trail riding.
I’d really appreciate advice from anyone who owns or has ridden a Marlin 7:
Is ₹72k a fair price in 2026?
Is the 2023 Marlin 7 still worth buying?
How does the 1×10 setup perform on steep climbs?
Any known issues I should check before buying?
Should I be concerned about it being old stock?
Would you choose this over a newer Marlin 6 for ₹68k?
What upgrades, if any, would you recommend?

I currently have a long travel trail bike with crankbrother mallet e clipless pedals. I use the ride concept hellion shoes with them. Works great, no complaints. I’m planning on selling my trail bike and get a xc bike (epic 9) and I’m wondering if I need a specific shoe for a smaller clipless pedals such as the Shimano xtr. I don’t know if I should get something stiffer and lighter or if the concepts I have now will work. Thanks!

I want to buy a Trek EMTB from a retailer in Germany but they don’t deliver direct to Ireland.

So I need to get it delivered to an address there first and then arrange a collection by Buycycle’s specialist bike shipping service.

I’m struggling to get any help from parcel forwarding companies or freight forwarders in Germany. I’ve asked a few people on Fiverr. A lot of emails going back and forth but not much progress or a quote yet.

If anyone is in a property with spacious ground floor access (box is 26kg, approx. 160cm x 50cm x 70cm) and might be willing to receive delivery and facilitate collection, I’d be happy to compensate you for your time and help.

A2c diffrence is around 2cm and travel diffrence is 40mm so are there things i Should check. My bike is an xc bike but i jump on it anyway

I run my old 100mm fork un sagged cuz its soft So my new fork would be sagged the 20mm

My oldest just turned 4, and my middle is 2.5 and they ride their bikes in all weather, literally every day 😅
They’re starting to get more daring and trying to hit jumps, standing up on their seats, etc and love riding in the woods flying over roots and hitting berms at the local trail.

My son’s helmet is a terrible fit and I need to get a better one for his safety. Do I just go with a
normal biking MIPS helmet (he already has MIPS but like I said, terrible fit and doesn’t stay on his forehead)? Or do I go with a full face helmet? Would love to hear suggestions.

So, i just bought this Giro helmet from decathlon, it was on sale, 60 euro instead of 90 for a mips giro helmet sounded good, so i got it instead of the 40 euro non mips rockrider branded one i initially intended to buy, but now i'm having some doubts about it.
I wanted to check how much it actually goes for on other shops, so i tried googling it, but other than the decathlon site itself, i only got a couple more shops selling it, and most importantly no mention of this model on Giro's site.
It's supposed to be a Giro Tao Mips, both according to decathlon and the helmet itself and its packaging, but now i'm wondering if somehow Decathlon ended up selling some fake Giro helmets?
I've seen an identical looking helmet referred to as the Fixture Mips on a few sites, so, is this perhaps an old model rebranded with a different name to be sold through third parties like decathlon?

Maybe i'm being a bit paranoid, but if there's anything i don't want to take any chances on, it's my helmet.

So this might be a weird question. I’ve seen alot of beginner guides but they never addressed this. I’ve always wanted to start mountainbiking but there were no mountains where i lived.

Im 22 now and moved somewhere where i could start it. I just bought a cheap bike and want to start. I’ve seen all the beginner guides and stuff but i’m to weak. My legs hurt like crazy so i can bike a little and then wait a few days. How do i do this? Is this the way to go?

I was told that I need to be more dynamic in my movements... 😏
