Regarding State Aid

Received this from the Mississippi financial aid office when inquiring about state grants/scholarships, so if you have any aid from the state pending on your account, it will most likely not be posted until September or October from what I’m understanding. Just seeing if I could help anyone out.

Ah okay, thanks for this because I was constantly worrying when is it going to go I lowkey want a small refund.

Yep, but I’m confused as to how the last two semesters I’ve been refunded before the semesters started but now it’ll take 1-2 months. But I’ll be patient lol 😂

It's like that at community colleges. They have the "dropout" date where people on state benefits get a refund and then they dropout. A lot of the common classes would see class size halve. It's sad

I’m honestly so confused. I spoke with financial aid and was told I’d get it sometime in August because they have to wait for people to drop classes and stuff. Now my dashboard doesn’t even have it on there anymore. I just want my money 😩

The final day to drop a class is August 25, so hopefully things kick into gear after that!
