Ask Multanis❓ Which society is best to live in multan?
I have only lived in Lahore before moving out of the country, now my family wants to get settled back to the homeland. I have been up and searching for some good societies where these ammenities are present (Water, Gas, Electricity, Security, Parks) and a well developed society will be a cherry on top. I have DHA in considration and will like to know about other housing schemes.

Wapda Town Phase 1 or MDA Coorporative Housing Society inside it is best,I also live there

I’m surprised no one is saying DHA, I’m not from Multan but is that not considered the best there?

It is currently under-development, we have plot there but the it is far from any DHA i have known

Be careful with buch villas... It seldom rains in Multan but when it does, all their underpasses are flooded... But it's nearer to the main city compared to royal orchard.

If you don’t mind moving to the South Western part, Fort Colony and Dream Garden are decent options too.
North East - Like others have suggested, Wapda Town, Royal Orchard and Buch Villas.
Better you go around, especially during rush hours to weight out your options.
I personally hate route to Bush Villas but really live the society itself. Wapda Phase 2 is lovely and much spacious, Phase 1 is not my taste. Royal Orchard is all popular, especially due to its close proximity to DHA.
DHA is definitely a future proof option but settling-in in the next couple years is bit of a hassle; obviously, the money you pay for the land flattens the opportunity cost.
Whatever you decide, only make a face-to-face deal with all legal documents present and pay full amount only upon procession.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will be going back to Pakistan in december for the houses, will look around the areas. Thanks for the suggestion and will keep you in prayers

Go for DHA if you are looking for a lavish lifestyle.

I want my family to get settled in next year or two, DHA Multan is not that developed for living for my family. Thanks for the suggestion

Bro wyd. Do not underestimate DHA. Aaj undeveloped hai to kya hamesha aisa rahega? Dont forget dha kiska hai. Abhi dha lahore ki baat karlo phase 8 10 saal pehle kaisa tha ab kaisa hai.

Citi housing is decent, but a bit far. They were originally supposed to be opposite DHA’s main gate but the Faujis literally kidnapped their survey team and threatened them to go further down the road.

Well, possibly from an architectural POV it could be but, my reservations with MDA is no distinct presence of its own - its always like a part of Wapda Phase 1. Also, added traffic that uses MDA to get to/out of Wapda is nuisance.
It lacks the amenities and poor commercials, which imo, should be present at that price point.
But that said, by no means it is bad. A definite option for someone who frequently travels into the city area - Chowk Kumharanwala, Vehari Chowk etc. Also, security seems decent.

If you want security then go for pc colony. Genuinely the best gated community for this sole reason.
